Ah, thanks devastate!

Now I understand why some of my XTC effects like interpole appear as synths...

I manually went in and used a synth .dll to name all of my XTC devices, I'll try it with an effect .dll and make sure the dev files are in the right folder.

cool!

Apparently, people have already sent in their non-commercial SDK agreement and creamware has sent them the SDK 4.0 cd.

Why hasn't creamware officially announced the SDK availability on their website?

Interesting....

Over the years, there have been many things mentioned that never came to fruition.

When I bought my pulsar 1 about four years ago, I remember creamware was working on some sort of built in automation.

whatever happened to that?

anyone hear about this?

I guess their site has been down for a few days. I heard they filed for bankruptcy on the waldorf egroups forum, but I didn't see anything official.

releasing the dp software would be a great first step for creamware. Being a smaller staff now, it may be awhile before we see anything signifcantly new...maybe not

Hopefully this is feasible, because I thought creamware had to pay analog devices for use of the software...or least the SDK ...

another thing....the PCI-X issue.

I definitely think the firewire/usb-2 would be the way to go. It would seem easier for the company to support. You wouldn't have to deal the internal issues of running a card inside our computers...conflicts, power, noise..etc. I think may of us have encountered ...

thanks for the update frank.

About the XTC and SFP mode being merged together, this sounds great, but I always thought this was 'technically impossible' due
to latency issues. Maybe I'm wrong...

however, I would still *love* to see the modular available in XTC.

It would simply be awesome for ...

This is really great news, and surprising! I really thought creamware would of been at least bought out by someone else...wow!

I do agree with Spirit...I hope Frank can give just a little info on the future of creamware.

According to john cooper's original post, there were supposed to be some "bad ...

I've also tried running my sfp at 96khz,and I wasn't exactly blown away, but it did add a 'slight edge' to my synths. Hard to describe...

On a related note...I own reaktor 4, and have tried running the internal samplerate higher than 44.1khz, and it does seem to improve the sound quality.

anyone ...

I understand what you're saying....

maybe I misinterpreted the press release. I
understand about zero latency in the pulsar environment. I use it all the time for
routing audio to my outboard gear and back
in realtime...one of the best things about
pulsar. If you look at the press release ...

Hey everyone,

am I the only one to notice this....

when I read the press release from namm...I thought cool....the new 3.1 software is going to be a unified package between the cards and live bar is a new kind of control panel, but then read it again. Is live bar supposed to be some sort of truly ...
