Just received this information from Ralf @ CW support Germany:
I want to inform the PlanetZ users about some server trouble here at creamware..

The facts :

Due to a technical problem, the "My Page" and Online Shop areas are currently unavailable. We are working on resolving these issues but we can not predict when exactly these areas will be back online. We apologize for inconveniences and ask you for your patience. Thank you.

I've been waiting to purchase the new Profit-5 and exactly when I'm ready the shop goes offline.

Oh well.

Hopefully, they will extend the Profit-5 introductory offer then, huh!?

The 50% offer seems to have passed me by. They must be having their stuff hosted at some duff ISP. This could be costly.

Hmm. It's been nearly a week now. No one can buy software; no one can register and use hardware or software they have already purchased. This is looking more like a legal or business problem than a tech problem, and we've seen this movie before.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Still dead for me, too. Checking from Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Maybe someone more local can get in? Or maybe CWA has been taken over by pod people? Does anyone really know anything???

It's *partially* working for me now... takes ages to do anything though. Still getting some ASP script time outs that are database related.

Can get to various parts of "my page", but still can't (yet) get into the actual "shop" pages.

Same here (Texas). I also can get some pages, but can't register or get the software keys for the Power Pulser I bought

The errors it gives look like MySQL database errors, so I see no reason to read anything into this beyond a technical problem, as they posted. Data base problems can be very difficult, especially with a big one as this surely is.

Last weekend our offices were flooded with water from a thunderstorm - power down, network down, some computers died, amongst them the machine with the "my page" and shop frontend.

Just now we have launched a temporary online store which cover your needs until the old store is back again. Please see our home page.

The "My Page" area may take another week or two to be restored. We had a real "worst case" crash - lot of work to get it back up.

Cheers, Frank

There were so many bad things happening to CW that I think you will live in luck and happiness the next years, Frank  Try to think the flood was to cleanse the office. At least my friend always says so and I belive it.
