Re: A16 Ultra died
Oh, so Sonic|Core doesn't handle the A16 anymore at all?

A16 Ultra died
Recently my A16 Ultra (SonicCore generation, not CreamWare) was giving me intermittent power outages, like it would turn off spontaneously and then back on periodically. Then, finally, it went dead altogether and won't turn on at all. I tested the power supply wall-wart with a meter and the unit is ...

Modular LFOs work to analog output!!
I just discovered something AWESOME -- the LFOs from Modular III can be passed through straight to the audio outputs of Scope (I'm using A16U for D/A). I'm using it to control my Synthesizers.com analog modular synth -- and it works amazingly well. It also allows me to use mod wheel and aftertouch m...

DC Output
Hi,
Does anyone know if the A16 Ultra supports DC ouput? I have an analog modular synth that I want to control with Motu's Volta plugin, but MOTU says it requires DC output. Has anyone tried this?
Thanks!!

Re: Juno-106 filter problem
Thanks, I should probably take it apart and see what's inside, although I don't think I'd really want to touch anything. If it gets too annoying I'll have a keyboard technician look at it. For all I know, the VCF/VCA chips have already all been replaced already.

Re: Juno-106 filter problem
It's probably the case that it's just a factor of unstable analog components that aren't calibrated the same. If it ever dies for real I'll get replacement chips. I bought the 106 because a) it's vintage 80's, b) it's analog, c) it was under $500, and d) OMG that chorus!!!! :) Thanks for your help, ...

Juno-106 filter problem
For anyone who owns and knows about the Roland Juno-106 keyboard (off of which UKnow 007 was based), I'm having a little trouble with mine. I bought one a few months ago from Ebay, and while all six voice chips seem to be work, voice 6's VCF is considerably brighter than the other voices. But only s...

Re: Test Drive for ALL Scope Devices possible now ! ! !
hi ralf, how long will the time limit be? will the devices cease to work after a given date or usage time? and is it be possible to apply for a second trial period in case the timeframe is too short? nice improvement, btw. I hope to see that feature on the new MyPage, should it ever return... :wink...

This is not an announcement. This should be posted in the "XITE" forum.
Re: WTF!!!
Every company has late products. Microsoft is notoriously late. Apple is notoriously late. I hear UAD-2 took forever to be released after it was announced, and so did Arturia's Origin. The fact that Sonic|Core was able to show up and NAMM and say hey, we have a real product, shows that it's not just...

The "last 5 percent" is probably the OS X version of the software. That's why they were running it on Vista.

Re: A16 Ultra Outputs - DC Coupled?
I don't know, but I hope it can do DC signals too!
If not, I'll buy a MOTU 828, which I've been planning to get for use with a laptop. That'd be uber cool to control my analog modular from my computer!!!

We don't have long to wait. I'm guessing all will be revealed at NAMM (which is in less than a month).

OK...his exact words were: Hello Shayne, we are going further in optimizing and we do, what's possible to release release this year. Sorry, butt impossible to give a more detailed or a fix date. All the best and thanks a lot for the patience. cheers Ralf ...and after I replied to him and said thank ...

Got my RME RayDAT
I wrote to Ralf a few days ago asking if there's any chance XITE is coming out this year...and his reply (thanks so much, Ralf) was that while they're still working on it and it's not "on hold", there's also no guarantee it'll be released this year. Maybe, maybe not -- whenever they get it...
